Fixed Regulators - Negative Single Output LDO

Fixed regulators are power management ICs that regulate the output voltage to a fixed value, regardless of the input voltage or load changes. Fixed regulators come in different types and packages, including the Negative Single Output Low Dropout (LDO) regulators.

Negative Single Output LDO regulators provide a fixed negative output voltage that is lower than the input voltage. They are commonly used in applications where a negative voltage is required, such as in audio amplifiers, data acquisition systems, and test and measurement equipment. LDO regulators are known for their low dropout voltage, which is the minimum voltage difference between the input and output required to maintain regulation. LDO regulators are ideal for low-power applications that require high accuracy and low noise.

Fixed regulators offer a number of advantages, including simplicity, low cost, and low noise. They are easy to use and require minimal external components, making them ideal for a wide range of applications. Fixed regulators are also highly reliable and have a long operating life. However, they are limited in their flexibility and cannot be adjusted to different output voltages. This is where adjustable regulators come in.
