Pressure sensors are electronic devices that are used to measure the pressure of gases or liquids in a variety of applications. They convert physical pressure into an electrical signal that can be measured, processed, and used for control or monitoring purposes.

Piezoelectric pressure sensors use crystals that generate an electrical signal in response to pressure, and optical pressure sensors use the change in light transmission through a material as the pressure changes.
Pressure sensors are used in a wide range of applications, including automotive, aerospace, industrial, medical, and consumer electronics. In the automotive industry, they are used for monitoring tire pressure and engine oil pressure. In the aerospace industry, they are used for monitoring cabin pressure and fuel pressure. In the medical industry, they are used for monitoring blood pressure and respiratory pressure. In the industrial sector, they are used for process control and monitoring.
