Floppy/Zip Drives
Floppy drives and Zip drives are legacy storage devices that were popular in the late 20th century for storing and transferring data. Floppy drives use flexible magnetic storage media known as floppy disks, while Zip drives use removable magnetic disks housed in a rigid plastic cartridge. These drives were commonly used for backing up and transporting small amounts of data, such as documents and software files. However, with the advent of higher-capacity storage technologies like CDs, DVDs, and USB flash drives, floppy and Zip drives have largely become obsolete.
