The Addonics Internal 5-Port 6G PM (Port Multiplier) is the newest member in our PM family that supports SATA 3.0 6Gbps data transfer rate. Designed to be mounted into add-on card slot of any standard desktop or low profile system, this PM connects up to 5 SATA hard drives or optical drives into a single SATA port on a system board or on an add-in controller. The five drives appears as five independent drives or can be set as a RAID group using the RAID software of the OS or the host controller. It is a great solution for adding more drives to a computer with limited SATA ports. |
