In addition to its use as an external unit, the UH-9125's form factor allows it to be installed internally in any 3.5" or 5.25" drive bay on the PC system. When installed internally, there are special connectors in the back for the system's power cable and the USB cable from the system mainboard or USB adapter card to plug into. Easy access to four downstream ports is available from the front of the system. When connected externally, the UH-9125 provides a fifth downstream port on the unit's rear panel. Additional units can be neatly stacked for convenient daisy chaining. |
