    For industrial control applications in which you’re only concerned about output, use BLACK BOX® Relay Output Cards. They provide 16 or 32 outputs for applications such as switching, control systems, security, and other automation systems.

    The output cards feature 16 or 32 reed relay outputs for high-quality, long-life, and low-current (10-watt maximum) dry-contact switch closures. The relays are normally open; they close when energized. Writing a "1" to the proper port bit can individually energize each relay.

    To simplify cable connections, you can connect the cards' DB37 connectors directly to a terminal block. The card with 32 Outputs (IC908C) includes two 37-pin male/female terminal blocks. You can also order a DB37 Cable and Terminal Block (to order, see "Related Products").
