Install this card in the Black Box® HD-over-IP Encoder/Decoder to interface with DVI-I or HDMI® video equipment. It's particularly ideal for TV studio, video post-production, command and control, or any number of AV applications where you want to use an Ethernet network to extend from a DVI or an HDMI video source—including a Blu-ray player—to a digital HD screen with DVI or HDMI input. For DVI/HDMI source-to-DVI/HDMI display applications, order a card for two VX-HDV-IP base units. However, if necessary, you can mix video interfaces within the same HD-over-IP Encoder/Decoder installation, connecting a DVI or an HDMI source on the encoder side and a high-end 3G-SDI device on the decoder side, or vice-versa. For this mixed-interface application, you will also need to order our HD-over-IP Encoder/Decoder 3G-SDI I I/O Card (VX-HDV-IP-SDI). |
