The EDGE™ Boost Express Solid State Drives (SSD) is an enterprise grade solution designed to replace aging spinning disk hard drives. Utilizing the exceptionally fast PCI Express (PCIe) interface, Boost Express SSD are faster, lighter, more durable, and more reliable when compared to hard drives. Boost Express SSDs are both PC and Mac compatible and will work in any system with an available PCIe slot (x2). Ultra-fast read and write speeds of up to 285MB/s and 275MB/s (in a SATA II 3Gb/s system) can be achieved respectively.
