Compact external network frame grabber for capturing DVI, HDMI, VGA + audio signals and using a network to transfer the data to the target computer. VGA2Ethernet supports resolutions of up to 1920×1200 and can achieve capture rates of up to 60 frames per second.
VGA2Ethernet allows the user to acquire 100% lossless images from any DVI/HDMI/VGA/RGB source in resolutions up to 1920x1200. It uses a RJ45 10/100/GigE network interface to send the data to the target computer and can achieve lossless capture rates of 60 frames per second at low resolutions, 13 to 30 FPS at 1024×768, and 5 to 30 FPS at 1920×1200, depending on content being captured. VGA2Ethernet also captures synchronized audio from a 3.5mm stereo line-in input. VGA2Ethernet is fully compatible with DirectShow in Windows and QuickTime in Mac OS X, meaning that it can be used in conjunction with any third party software that allows the use of an external camera as a video input. VGA2Ethernet can be used to capture the VGA, DVI or HDMI signal from radars, high resolution cameras, ultrasound devices, servers, computers, or any other mission-critical equipment.
