Marketing Information:

The 3DForce III-Ti200 video card, an extremely speed 3D/2D accelerator, a top-of-the-rod product from Jaton multimedia division. 3Dforce III-Ti200 is nVIDIA GeForce3 Titanium-series core technology "Lightspeed" memory architecture.

GeForce III-Ti GPU has special hardware features that required creating and using a shadow buffer. These features are capably to designate an area of graphics memory as a shadow buffer, and render the shadow map into the shadow buffer, then read data from the shadow buffer for the mathematical calculation to determine if a special pixel in the frame buffer is completely, partially, or not. The hardware has a special algorithm to bias this Z-value to avoid undesirable artifacts from precision errors.
