This LTO 6 tape data cartridge incorporates a Linear Tape Filing System that lets it be used in a manner similar to that of hard disk drives. Boasts a compressed tape drive transfer rate of up to 400 MB/sec and storage capacity of up to 6.25 TB. Encryption capability enables hardware based writing of encrypted data to the cartridge to protect sensitive information. High coercivity micro-particles provide a high level of output, a superior signal-to-noise ratio, and a low, stable error rate. Patented ultra-fine ceramic-armored metal particles augment the cartridge's capacity and create an added level of protection from corrosion.
