The Adaptec FireConnect 4300 Kit is a 3-port, OHCI-compliant 1394/FireWire host adapter for PC and Macintosh systems that provides plug-and-play connectivity for FireWire devices such as hard drives, CD-RWs, scanners and camcorders. The kit includes award-winning MGI VideoWave 4 SE digital video editing software for Windows systems that provides the ability to capture, edit, produce and share your video. The card is hot-pluggable and provides isochronous data transmission for digital video. Connect up to 62 daisy-chained external FireWire/1394/i.Link devices with transmission rates of up to 400Mbits/sec - equivalent to 50Mbytes/sec.
