USB File Transfer w/Hub Quickly and easily transfer files between two Windows PCs without the need for network connections using this USB File Transfer Hub from Monoprice! This USB 2.0 hub features three downstream USB 2.0 ports to expand your USB connection options. When used as a hub only, it is compatible with Windows 2000 and later versions, as well as Mac OS X 10.4.x and later versions. The heart of the hub is the ability to connect to another PC, allowing for easy drag and drop file transfers. Simply plug the included mini USB cable into the mini USB port on the hub and the other end into another Windows PC and install the software embedded in the hub with no need for CDs or optical drives. The file transfer function and software are compatible with Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8. The hub draws all the power it needs from the connected USB port, however it also allows for the use of a 5VDC, 500mA AC adapter (not included). |
