SIIG’s USB to 2-Port Serial is designed to enable you to connect additional RS-232 9-pin serial devices to your current USB-enabled desktop or notebook computer. It instantly adds two additional RS-232 9-pin serial ports to your computer via an available USB 1.1 or USB 2.0 port. The USB to 2-Port Serial features a built-in 16550 UART with 512-byte FIFO buffers to dramatically increase data transmit and receive speeds under Windows multitasking environment. It supports baud rates of up to 115Kb/s and allows you to hot-swap devices (connect and disconnect) without first turning your system off. It is the perfect solution for connecting additional RS-232 serial devices such as modems, digital cameras, ISDN terminal adapters, graphics tablets, PDAs, bar code scanners, and label printers. The USB to 2-Port Serial is fully compliant with USB specification, revision 1.1, FCC and CE approved and RoHS-compliant. It is also fully compatible with a wide variety of Windows operating systems and backed by SIIG’s limited five years warranty. |
