It allows you to easily connect existing Ultra ATA 150/133/100/66 hard disk drives and ATAPI devices to the latest Serial ATA host adapter and supports ATA/ATAPI Ultra DMA data transfer rates of up to 150MB/s. It features a compact L-shaped design to reduce interference with other devices and mounts directly to the IDE/ATAPI device without requiring an expansion slot. The SATA-to-IDE Adapter is easy to install and requires no driver installation. It is fully compliant with Serial ATA 1.0a specification and ATA/ATAPI PIO modes 0 to 4, works with virtually any operating system and is backed by SIIG’s limited lifetime warranty. |
