SIIG’s SATA II PCIe host controller is designed to add two SATA channels for connecting up to two additional SATA hard disk drives. The SATA II PCIe host controller delivers data transfer rates of up to 3.0 Gb/s and supports 48-bit LBA for drives with capacity larger than 137GB. Additional features include independent command fetch, scatter/gather, command execution, Native Command Queuing (NCQ), Non-zero offsets NCQ, Out-of-order data delivery NCQ, and hard disk hot-plugging ensure fast and reliable data transfers. The Serial ATA II PCIe comes with a spare low profile bracket to allow it to be installed in either standard height or low profile systems. It is fully compliant with PCI Express Base Specification Revision 1.0a, Serial ATA 1.0a specification, and is also FCC Class B (DoC) & CE regulatory approved and RoHS-compliant. In addition, this controller is fully compatible with a wide variety of Windows operating systems and is backed by SIIG’s limited lifetime warranty. |
