The StarTech.com PCI Ultra ATA/100 Drive controller card supercharges any PC with 2 - 100MB/sec IDE drive ports. The card can act as the primary boot device, and replace built-in IDE ports, or provide an additional 2 high-speed ports to the system. While designed to perform with high-speed IDE/100 drives, the card also supports 66 MB/sec, 33 MB/sec and older hard drives, CD-ROMS, CD-RW drives, and other ATA peripherals. Bus Master drivers are included for DOS, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT4, and Windows 2000. Windows XP drivers available with operating system. |
